The Tooblite absorbs lights (similar to glow-in-the-dark), so it  can be recharged from any light source including: sunlight, LEDs, black lights,  ambient light, household bulbs, etc. If it is bright enough for you to see the  Tooblite is absorbing light. So even on a cloudy overcast day it is absorbing
the UV rays.

Traditional  glow sticks are one time use products that require users to activate the light by shaking or breaking the tube. Traditional glow sticks utilize a chemical reaction whereas our Tooblite uses photoluminescence (glow-in-the-dark).  We use enhanced glow-in-the-dark technology that is why our product is bright enough to be a light source all night long. Some traditional glow sticks may initially be brighter than the Tooblite, but the Tooblite will out last those products because it can be reused/recharged over-and-over again FOREVER.

The Tooblite is designed to be durable, waterproof, and glow in any weather condition, so use it anywhere! It is a great addition to
emergency kits, bug out bags, and 72 hour kits. Tooblite glow-sticks are used for many purposes. They are waterproof, do not use batteries, generate no heat,  and are non-toxic They can tolerate high pressures, such as those found  underwater.  They are used as light sources and light  markers by military forces, campers, search and rescue teams and recreational divers doing night diving. Glow  sticks are considered the kind of light source that is safe for use  immediately following an earthquake, hurricane, tornado, or other catastrophic emergency situation due to the fact that  they do not use any kind  of electricity to work and  do not  create any dangerous sparks. They can also be used for night-time fishing  as a lure.
